Our Work
The People seeks to address the root causes of government ineffectiveness, not just symptoms. We work to produce truly non-partisan solutions in all we do. We do not seek to advantage one party or the other, but instead aim to reduce the unproductive effects of the current two-party political system. We entrust and empower the people of our country to lead government reform efforts and support their agency in all we do. We contribute to (re)building relationships and a sense of community across our country through our work together.

New Hampshire
The People NH is founded on the belief that we must come together as a community, putting party loyalty aside, to work to fix our democracy rule by rule, reform by reform. We are looking for Granite Staters to join us in identifying and championing election and legislative reforms here in New Hampshire.
Operation Vote America
The People has launched an educational video series, state by state, on topics surrounding the election process to help encourage citizens to vote, promote trust in our election process, and inspire people to serve as poll workers/observers. Part of our program is highlighting voting resources like our Peace at the Polls toolkit and Voting Resource Guide.
Vote-o-Pedia
The People's Interactive Guide to Voter Access & Election Integrity Across the US.
The diverse group of political buffs in our Voting Rights Committee has designed and developed a comprehensive election tracking resource to understand where states are succeeding and where there is room for improvement when it comes to having effective elections.
Voting Resource Guide
The Voting Resource Guide is a one-stop shop for everything you need to be an active and informed voter. This includes resources related to registration, voter education, polling place check, nonpartisan ballot guides, election dates / reminders, and more.
National Assembly
Our signature annual event bringing together people from across the country and political spectrum to find common ground. Learn more about the assemblies we’ve held since 2019, including our 2023 National Assembly held in June.
Facilitation Training
Self-Guided Modules Coming Soon!
This program provides skill building and guided facilitation experience for those interested in becoming a facilitator with The People or just using those skills in their own communities. In 2024 we will be offering both virtual training sessions and self-guided modules - stay tuned for more details!
