Co-founder: The People, Do Something & CafeMedia
Founder of The Forum
Andrew is a civic leader and architect focused on restoring shared purpose in American democracy. A graduate of Dartmouth College, Andrew’s life has spanned public service, professional sports, media, and entrepreneurship — from teaching math and playing professional soccer in Zimbabwe to starring on Melrose Place and later playing for the LA Galaxy. He co-founded Do Something, mobilizing millions of young people toward social impact, and later built CaféMedia (now Raptive), scaling one of the largest digital publishing platforms in the country. After conducting civic dialogues across 10 states with Frank Luntz, Andrew became convinced that Americans are ready to deliberate, decide, and lead together. Through The Forum he is building a citizen-powered process to crowdsource solutions, forge common ground, and translate public will into pragmatic legislation — because he believes the country that does something together stays together.
